Amazon UK account need some advice please
 

Hi guys, so, I recently applied to be a vendor on Amazon UK as a pro seller. This is a legit account non-stealth. Got a video verification request for next week which I've booked.

I'm very nervous about something and need a bit of advice. The account is under my LTD company. I uploaded my passport and bank statement. But the part I'm worried about is I actually by mistake uploaded my savings account bank statement under my residential address.

I have business bank account under my company name with my business address but did not upload it by mistake.

If I explain to them during video verification do you think they'll understand and allow me to just upload another bank statement with my actual LTD details on?

I know Amazon can be very strict but this was a genuine error on my part.

Furthermore, my category will be food and groceries, do I need to show them a lot of documents to get approved?

amazon will ask for additional documents if needed and video verification is likely to get you through

however , many categories are gated and there is a high risk that you will be allowed to list items but not in the category you need which may make the account useless

You should be fine

The video verification will ask you to hold up your ID and bank statement

You can explain over the live video just have the other bank statement ready to go

Is it going to be hard for me to sell in the Food and Grocery category?
I ask because you seem like a person who knows your stuff when it comes to Amazon accounts.

My account is non-stealth. Using my own details etc but really need access to the food and grocery category.

Any advice?

You need to provide invoices, authorization letters etc

Invoices should not be a problem as I have that but what did you mean by authorization letters? Sorry I didn't understand that part?

If you have invoices then speak with your distributor and they will able to help, you need to apply to amazon first its upto them what they ask

But I tell you its not easy
