Worldfirst took Amazon disbursements away after deleting user's account

I used Worldfirst to collect UK Amazon disbursements. They closed my account a while ago cuz the company was dissolved due to missing the company annual return filing.

The ridiculous thing here is that, WORLDFIRST keeps the bank account under my name ACTIVE after they closed the account so they are still able to collect my amazon disbursements!

I did not change the Amazon's disbursement bank account in time, therefore several Amazon payments were transferred to Worldfirst and there's no way to reclaim back from them anymore. Now I need to go through a very long process to get the cash back through UK company house.

Yep, WorldFirst legally cannot disburse the monies to you.
Both Companies House and banks make it very clear that if your company goes into either voluntary or compulsory dissolution the monies will be withheld.
AFAIK, once a company is dissolved the monies belong to the Crown and the only way the Treasury Solicitor will agree to any release is if the company is re-instated.

Yes Money from WF to the Crown is totally legal and I have no problem with it. The problem is that Worldfirst keep the bank accounts under my name ACTIVE and still accepting deposits, after they delete my membership with them, WTF.

Most of other 3rd party bank account providers delete the bank accounts straight away in this scenarios.

Yes most would delete the bank accounts but onus is on you to change the bank account right away in AZ :(
