buying amazon seller account problem
 

I have one question about buying an account. Can the seller get the account back because he has all the information ids etc also? What should I do to avoid these problems?

Talk to the sellers in this forum's market place.

Report any DM you get as those are scams.

THe sellers here are vetted and trusted since we know them.

If you update the original email of the shop, there is no way to recover it, as whoever sells you the shop will not know the new login email

You need the current email login of the account to initiate account recovery (like if you lose your two step authentication device)

Above information is wrong, you can't change the original email, if you do it will again goes into verification, login email can change but not the business owner

I don't know where you get your information, but what I said is 100% true

You can update the email in login settings, and you will not trigger verification

Test it yourself, and then try to do account recovery using the original email

It won't work, you need to provide the new email in order to start the account recovery process

I am taking about where seller performance notification goes and they don't accept appeal from any other email then listed in business contact which is in the person details,
Test it yourself maybe its different in usa but on uk it does show

That used to be the case in the US about 12 months ago

They changed it a while ago so now you can change email and not have the same issue

The UK could still be outdated, you would have to test it

For US/CA/AU/JP markets you can now safely update it
