Creating a new account. Do Amazon ask proof of Partnership LLC?

Hi guys, Im creating a new US Amazon seller account. Not a stealth account. This will by my first seller account. Already formed a single member LLC using register agent and used a virtual address in my state for principal business address. Im gonna open a business bank account and will wait for the first statement before creating the amazon seller account. My question is would that be a problem now or in the future If I choose Partnership instead of single member llc when creating the seller account. I read that If I choose single member LLC my name will be displayed publicly on amazon seller info page, not the name of the LLC. Do Amazon ask info about the members of the LLC?

Yes first account ever. Only reason I want to go with Partnership LLC is to hide my name from public. If there is any other solution you can suggest that would be great.

Hmmm.... here's my suggestion because your real info and real account are very precious you should try to make Amazon Ghost accounts to use, gain experience and play with first.

If the Amazon Ghost accounts are successful then you can start making your real account.

Think about this first.

I have to disagree.....

There is absolutely no way I would jeopardise my legit details by leaving a possible 'paper trail' to a suspended stealth account if my messing around went sour.

Indeed, whilst I know why you make that post I think it's in bad taste.

The simple solution is to register a mailbox

Then you can set your LLC info to the unique business name + mailbox address

I second that. Amazon isn't easy, and even if you think you are doing everything right, depending on what you sell there is a good chance that sooner or later your account may go down. I lost my personal account and now 10 years later I have ghost accounts staying up for years, and wish I could have my own real account, however, I made the mistake of using that info when I was inexperienced and there is no going back now, it's gone forever.
