New Amazon stealth account what are they requiring these days?
 

I haven't made an Amazon stealth account in quite some time and I've heard things have changed alot.

Wondering what is required now. Are they asking for docs and I heard about a video but wasn't sure if that's only if the account is flagged.

I'm to the credit card stage but before I burn a VCC I want to know what's next .

The main difference now is more postal code verification and video verifications

Hi what about the insurance question that Amazon asks some sellers after 10k sales? And do video verifications come for usa stealth accounts after successful creation after a while too? Do they ask about passport later on again? Thanks for the help :)

What's the stop after credit card for seller fees? I don't want to burn a VCC.

Do they always ask for docs now and video identification? Is the video a selfie video like Facebook is doing?

What do they send for postal verification? How does that work. Do they just want to see if it gets delivered nor is there a code of something?

There is a code in the envelope you need to enter in the Seller central

With the insurance question this can hit anybody even you are lower the 10k. Since it is in there business policy. But that isn't the difficult things.

Video verification is usually when the account is flagged.

Postal mailer is becoming standard

What would you submit for ID (identification) if you gave them your drivers license the last time with address?

Video verification is still rare and usually when an account is flagged.

COde though the mail started to be common as of last year.

If I use an LLC with virtual address for new stealth account does the card I use have to match the virtual address on LLC thanks

If you can have it match then it's a plus.

My wife made a seller account about 5months ago (For me to operate)... At that point you needed the following (That I can remember):

- Driver License (Front and back) - OR - Passport ID
- Proof of residence (Bill showing your name and address)
- Banking Proof
- Set up a video call where you talk to AMZ affiliate and go over nic-nac stuff

The address has to match the address on amazon if they are asking for that kind of proof

And I take it you cannot use your same ID?

Like what I gave them my drivers license the first time, and this time I give them my passport? and different address billing details, CC statement, or utility?

They can't match anything that's the same as the previous account you made.

And I even use a different computer per account. Or completely reinstall and wipe the OS before reusing it on a new amazon account.
