Switch Mac Address (for multiple accounts)
 

I am going to run multiple accounts and I’m going to invest in the necessary hardware. I plan on only using wired connections to keep things organized and clean.

Amazon detects your MAC address and your first connecting device’s (usually stand alone router) MAC address BUT…

Ethernet Network switches have their own “switch” MAC address and they are cheaper. You can also use multiple of them and switch them out easily.

My question is will amazon be able to read past my Ethernet network switches MAC address if it’s tethered to my modem?

Any help is appreciated. I’m trying to find a safe way to open multiple accounts.

Amazon: I use 1 laptop per account and 1 residential IP from IPburger for all my amazon laptops. Saves a ton of time and headaches.

If you haven't already, I also recommend reading amazon ghost also.

Amazon is a beast of a platform... everything helps and it'll never be enough with them.

Amazon cannot see your MAC address, even your router or switch is not the first connected device.


Different user ID's or VM's each with dedicated dedicated I.P. is how I've always done it. No need for separate machines if your main PC is capable enough.

OP, don't need to worry about the MAC (still a persisting myth)

All you need is a fresh laptop or a Virtual machine + fresh IP per account

They can't see your MAC info

Awesome! Did you open the accounts under friends and family or did you open them under DBA/LLC?

I am planning on running mine under different DBAs attached to my LLC.
