Does Amazon keep your ID?

Hey guys,

Just wondering when creating multiple accounts can you use your drivers license again to get verified? or does Amazon keep that on file forever?

How about if I have them my drivers before, and this time I give them my passport instead?

Of course they keep your ID...

Amazon likely to save everything you give them forever

People use their passport if their DL are misplaced

Some use first/middle name if they prefer to go by a different last name

I would not use the same info as I am sure everything gets saved.

I think that using passport instead DL its a good idea, also I recomend you to use different address, cuz if you going to use same as on your previous account you will get "related deactivation". Also I think that good issue to close your old account, if you have access to.

Not sure if you can actually close it - info will still be kept

Just today I have closed 1 acc because of "NOT QUALIFY" problem, and there are told that if I'll change my mind about selling on amazon, I will need to register acc again. So I think its mean that I can use same information.

It doesn't. If you re-use the same data they will almost immediately suspend the new account and tell you to reactivate the old one.

Don't know if they keep the physical copy or not but they do keep data which their system match with other accounts specially vcc data and ID data match lead to instant van
