Re: Amazon OTP bug I've been there too using a switchboard forwarding service. I do not believe it was a bug but either a deliberate ploy by Amazon who can determine remote/virtual numbers or an issue with the forwarding service.
I could log in via my authenticator app but quickly decided to ditch the service and add bona fide mobile numbers. (happened on two accounts)
It's well documented on this forum that virtual numbers can be problematical, I wouldn't use one again, Amazon don't need much prompting to find a reason to suspend an account and start asking awkward questions. |
