Starting a new AMZN Account under a Corporation
 

Hi Team,

If my recent account has been suspended and not likely to be re-activated (in personal name).

Would opening an account under a corporation be satisfactory as I would still technically use my real name as the owner of the corporation? Would they require me to submit personal identification? If so, would they link with my previous suspension?

I would obviously ensure IP, Phone #, Bank Details, Mailing Address, Credit Card, etc... would all be changed as per Stealth Procedures.

You would still have to verify yourself even if you're opening it for your corp

With that said you could register first and middle name if you have a different address to use

You can't re-use any previously used information otherwise you may be linked

Don't forget to completely format your computer too if you're reusing it.

Generally they'd want to verify your personal details too though.

Thank you both for your advice / insights.

I had done some research and it seemed like starting a Corp was a good idea but I am now worried about the personal information getting linked?

I would prefer not to go through the whole process of starting a corp, paying for it etc... only for it to be shut down. Would it be better to try to open under my own personal again and see if it somehow works?

Really appreciate any/all advice.

You can get around the suspension with an LLC, which gives you a new tax id. But youll need to be aware that if they link it to your suspended account, you're toast. Use your passport for id verification, new phone number, address, etc. And possibly a new computer too just to be safe.

Im on my third account so ive learned about what not to do. The only bad thing is that you dont get many chances to learn from. best of luck.

I haven't formed the corporation yet as I didn't want to go through the process and pay the cost if this type of thing doesn't work.

Plus dissolving a corporation can be time consuming as well as I wouldn't have much use for it without being able to sell on AMZ.
