Mismatching info on stealth ID
 

Supplied documents and have been asked to complete video verification (UK).

Just noticed my postcode does not match on stealth bank statement and ID document. Just 2 digits swapped round wrong way. Not obvious unless scrutinized.

How much srutiny is this given? Do they make abolutely sure those postcodes match?

If a high quality document, you might be ok - tough to say 100% but chances are better...

Wondering if i can change provided documents now they have been submittted? I am yet to complete video verification so was hoping that i could resubmit?

In the past i'm sure i have submitted documents and was given the chance to resubmit if they were not happy.

....actually as the account hasn't been rejected perhaps i can just reapply using the same details (revising the ID document slightly)?

I note they say..." We reject documents when we cannot verify them or when they do not meet our criteria. Our decision to approve or reject a document is final and cannot be appealed, although you can re-apply with a new account."

if they ask for video I'd personally just let the account go and start over because a video verification usually means the account is flagged

Whilst nothing to do with passing video verification, do you have any advice to the friends and family members about completing form SA100 and it's implications?

this rather depends on who the money goes to , tax return can be done by the person with financial flows regardless of who amazon is registered to

it is of course another question that amazon will ask for business registration confirmation once a year

Sorry, I'm not familiar with the phrase 'financial flows' when it comes to the accounting and tax liabilities for a sole trader.

In any event, I'm not the one who needs the advice, I merely asked the poster how it would be positioned with a friend who took the responsibilities upon them and would, however you manipulate it, be the account owner and required to complete form SA100 even if they have 'employees'.

How's that going to dovetail with your aspirations as an account seller?

I don't think I have it in me to ask a friend to disclose their salary, savings interest, allowances etc in order that we can sit together and complete their tax return....but that's just me. :)

Yes it did work. Although i did lose the account at Amazon payments verification stage (15k limit) likely due to them not being happy with items being listed.
I have the chance to request disbursement from 90 days after deactivation.

Anyway....it's worth noting that documents can be altered and resubmitted if rejected for having mismatching details.

Just edit the id and put your picture and waalllaaa your u....its not like the phsyically inspect your id...its all photo and video...������thats for ebay

For Amazon they want to see the ID number. They also want to take a screenshot when you hold it up. Had to use phone as laptop webcam wasn't clear enough.
