Can amazon check UTR if give ⊗⊗⊗⊗ one that matches format

Hi, if I give amazon a UTR number that matches the algorithm such that a UTR checker would pass as a valid UTR because the check digits are correct.

Would amazon be able to check whether such a UTR is ⊗⊗⊗⊗ not?

At this point no. Stealth UTR still work.

Every Amazon account I've created as a sole trader, Amazon have asked for a copy of UTR paperwork from HMRC, so whilst a generator might work in the short term, be prepared for when they initiate verification.

They do ask for utr verification at start aswell

UTR needs to match the formula and have the correct check digits

Yes they work fine but you may get a doc request which last I tried also still works fine

docs request comes every year , content may vary but in general UTR and/or proof of address are repeated for all business accounts every year
