Brand approval request

Hello everyone I applied for a brand approval

I got this email after they asked for an invoice

Hello from Amazon Selling Partner Support,

I understand you contacted us regarding your application to sell (xxxxxx )(branded item ) products.

We reviewed your application and determined that you are not eligible to sell(xxxxxx )(branded item ) products. We evaluated the information you provided, but it did not pass our review. This decision doesn't necessarily reflect poorly on you or your seller account. We take a number of factors into consideration.

We know that this is not what you hoped for, and we’re sorry for any disappointment. We took this action to ensure the mutual success of our sellers and buyers on our site.

We appreciate your interest in selling Herbalife products. We value your participation and hope that you will continue to sell on Amazon. We appreciate your understanding.

I uploaded a legit invoice that's real and under my name

They didn't accept the invoice you submitted

Go with another invoice or another supplier/distributor

That's really all you can do

Nothing you can do other than try again with a different invoice.

Do keep in mind that even when we play nice and do everything by the book according to them , they can always reject it for any reason they want.

Re: Brand approval request

Good chance they've simply refused your application due to financial/logistical reason. Maybe some kind of directives from the brand themselves? Who knows? Sounds counter intuitive but sometimes they don't want too many sellers of a given product.

Some categories are harder than others. Supplements are one area as you've found out, Refurbish iphones is limited, adult toys/aids is another, Plenty more too I'm sure.

You could try another invoice but my guess is they were happy with what you submitted but decided, for whatever reason, to say 'no'.

Someone from the forum gave me an offer for 1250 USD for the brand approval? is this reasonable ?

Re: Brand approval request

selling history plays a substantial role , it is likely that your account does not have sufficient history. invoices alone are not enough otherwise everyone would be able to get brands approved

If your selling account not important for you then go for it, if they find out it’s F@@k invoice they will suspend your account

a company who owns the product that has that MLM Scheme, and I sign up as an official distributor for them, which I already am.

feels like your item is really problematic...

Re: Brand approval request

it is not sufficient to provide genuine invoices , you need to show substantial sales of similar products with no complaints in the past

As BME said above and I alluded to earlier in the thread, they simply don't want you as a seller of this brand based upon your record and the impact it may have on other sellers. They don't want to saturate a sector with bit players (not directed at you specifically) if they have a core of reliable volume sellers - particularly if they use FBA and the products in question have expiry dates.

Add to that their reluctance to dish out approvals on supplements then I suspect they're never going to be persuaded to approve you.

Re: Brand approval request

Supplements is tough to crack, I had genuine products from the manufacturer, there was only one other seller of it but amazon removed my listing as I wasn't "authorised" to sell.

I suggest you move on to a different product to sell.
