How to change payment method for AMZ monthly fee on Stealth account?

Can you change the payment method for the monthly $39 fee for AMZ stealth accounts? I have heard once you change the payment method, they redo verification.

I remember ive read somewhere if you pause/stop paying the $39, it sometimes triggers a reverification. Is that true

you can update payment info without issue

but if you add a risky card, or a card previously attached to another account, or a billing address linked to another account, then you might run into problems
