Ungating - Why denied?

Why would Amazon deny a request for a particular brand? I had a very good invoice for the brand from an authorized distributor.

most likely they want to see selling history so that only established accounts with extensive selling history can get such approvals

It could just be bad luck with the rep

Quality of the distributor could be lower than you expect

Status of the shop with repeated approval denials/suspensions add weight

If there's a foreign address on the account it could be negative

If your item requires sales/revenue before approval etc

didnt AMZN ban third party AAPL sellers (refurbished and used) on AMZN when AAPL signed up to sell on its site?
