Change Ownership of LLC on amazon / ebay
 

Hello everybody,

I started a LLC under my business partner a few years back and run a eBay and Amazon account under it.

He does not want to do online sales anymore so I am purchasing the LLC from him.

We will file a change of ownership with the IRS and get a new EIN

My question is does anybody know if that is the only thing I need to change on Amazon and eBay ?

Do they only look to see if the EIN matches the company name ?

When you update on Amazon make sure the new LLC name is unique not used before and it matches your LLC name exactly as you register it

Shouldn't be an issue majority of the time

Are you allowed to change the primary person on the account in case Amazon asks for ID. , or is this bad idea?
