I've been curious about the current gating process on Amazon. I have not been on there selling since being banned back around 2015. If I took a dive and bought a fully verified account from a seller here, would that account be able to access most product categories? The said account would be a U.S.-based account.

Electronics,toys and jewelry are 3 categories I think are gated during holiday periods.
Others may chime in.

AAPL products are restricted to AAPL only,the AMZN sellers who sell refurbished AAPL products are now selling on Ebay

The types of shops that usually have item restrictions are the foreign shops registered on the USA amazon platform

The types of shops that don't have item restrictions are typically the full USA shops that have already been video and postal code verified

Some items regardless of the type of shop you have will always be restricted
