Utility bill Vanished

Amazon doesn’t ask for utility anymore on usa accounts? Anyone see these anymore? Spent years preparing perfect ones that always pass & now the requests vanished

interesting - i havent been asked for utility info ever though

bill requests are still common but typically more common in the first few months of the shops life

if you have an older fully verified shop then its pretty rare

sounds like you're taking good care of your shops good job

2 days. and I provided elec bill and amazon denied it, so I have to prepare other docs.

Did you remove all meta data from images or PDF, if you purchased from a 3rd party then that may be what is catching you out.

there's really no point in testing bills

amazon can verify validity of bills through security software / public records

if its a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ bill that gets approved its because the rep that reviewed the suspension just visually inspected it and gave it a pass (you got lucky)

if a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ bill is inspected and can't be verified, amazon will send another bill request or will notate the account "do not reinstate" due to high risk, all you'll keep getting the "send bill" request or "sorry decided not to reinstate" request

How can amazon verify utility through public records? What are they verifying and how?

When you sign up for gas/electric/water service, your info sometimes ends up in public records

Same reason some people can be found on whitepages, eventually your name/address/email gets leaked online

Ok Amazon also accepts internet bills & can get real account numbers, can Amazon verify name/address against account number

Or do they even know if account is real #
