Stealth Possible - Concerning Questions
 

Hi Everyone,

I've been looking into stealth accounts and had two main questions that I think could make it very difficult to start the Amazon accounts.

Background:

- My main selling account is deactivated currently (Section 3, not looking good).
- I have a buyer account with the same information working fine.

1. I have a family member who can open a selling account with all new information, address, etc. However, I have used this address on my buying account to send them gifts or help them purchase items (once a year maybe as we live in the same city). Will the two selling accounts be easily linked? I have removed their address information from the buying account.

2. If I have a friend in another state who is willing to let me use their information and the account gets up and running, How can I manage FBA shipments? For example if I wanted to use partnered shipping or any shipping for that matter, would it raise red flags if they (the account information) were in California for example but the FBA shipment is sent from Florida? How would I get around this?

Wouldn't risk re-using any previously used information

If you buy a shop from your friend you can update it with your LLC info / shipping from address to reflect whatever state you would like to operate out of, but then your friend will never be able to sell on Amazon etc.

Option 2 is probably smarter

Some sellers use non AMZN warehouse to ship,so his address would be different from the ship from address.
Chinese sellers on Ebay often ship from CA,USA

1. your account and your fam's accounts are most likely linked.

2. It doesn't matter .

Another option you can do is go to the marketplace of the forum and buy a seller account there too.

Assuming that it works the same in the US as it does in the EU, it wouldn't matter.

When you arrange collection of your FBA packages then the only people who know the collection address is the courier, the Amazon generated label can still display the registered 'ship from' address.

This will work if ship from address & the place he drops off the package are in same state

But if ship from address on label is California & he is dropping off the package at ups in different state like ny this could be a problem as postage paid for was calculated wrongly

not sure why they would do that given the question clearly states the opposite in the opening thread.

In any event, don't most folk have their FBA packages collected?
