| henryfalmore | 04-29-2023 09:21 AM | Is it possible? Is it possible, plausible, and pragmatic to purchase from amazon and sell it on ebay, mercari, etsy or poshmark?
Kind of like dropship? For example can I list and HP zbook 14inch laptop on
ebay, mercari, etsy or poshmark with the stock photos, specification info etc and when it sells buy from amazon and have the seller send it to my ebay. mercari, etsy, or poshmark buyer?
thank you, love you |
| degsey69 | 04-29-2023 02:15 PM | Re: Is it possible? The trouble is Amazon almost sends its packages through their own transport system with their unique tracking numbers that can not be tracked outside your buyers account. Therefore drop shipping from that source is a no no as t is easily identified plus you have the problem of customer feedback who will report that an order was sent from Amazon. |
| agent006140 | 04-29-2023 08:08 PM | This is not dropshipping, according to Ebay,it is retail arbitrage, taking customer money and buy it from another 'RETAILER' is retail arbitrage, not dropshipping, you could be suspended /
Also AMZN,WALMART/SAM CLUB are not crazy about it,WMT can ban you as well. Quote:

thank you, love you | plenty of people are doing it now, hardly any money to be made.
AMZN prime offers free shipping, but it is a money loser,so if you use your prime account to run a business and ask AMZN to ship to your so called 'friends' free,AMZN is not going to like it,no one has friends all over the country and keep sending them free gifts daily. Quote:

amazon do not like buyers who use many different addresses
the better business model is buying on ebay and reselling on amazon , ebay are cheaper than amazon in many instances | ebay items are cheaper for reasons they are found in storage auction, garbage cans, refurbished, garage sales, stolen, counterfeits, basement, attic, they are also poorly packed without original box and fillers, electronic device could get damaged in transit,UPS no longer honor claims if they are not shipped in original box .
I would not buy used electronics on Ebay, once I bought a second hand printer,it comes with ink spilling all over ,my floor, carpet,my hands.
if they are refurbished by professionals, thats fine with me,the manufacturers often have a website where they sell refurbished, returns and factory rejects with cosmetic blemish.
BTW,if OP bought it from an AMZN third party seller who is not using FBA,it will be shipped by USPS,FED EXP or UPS,so her buyer will get good tracking. Quote:

A lot of Amazon printers and electronics are refurbished as well and a lot of good sellers on eBay sell these without adverse feedback and cheaper than Amazon. | Once I found a very good deal from AMZN,it was marked down because the box was damaged, who cares about the box, |

thank you, love you | If it’s being shipped Prime you can have it shipped to your house in two days and repackage and reship before your handling time is met. The obvious flaw to this is extra packaging and shipping costs. For a laptop you are probably making a margin high enough to make it worth it. |

This is the problem with internet, like Rupert Murdoch pointed out long ago,it hurts the retailers,as his shuppliers-distributors,wholesalers and manufacturers are all selling on internet, how can you compete /
Many AMZN market place sellers sell on AMZN,EBAY,ETSY and physical stores. and their own websites | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 03:00 AM. | |
