Need a Point of Contact on a new AMZN account
 

In the process of setting up a new Amazon account. Got a new Wyoming LLC, got the new EIN, now getting a business bank account for it. Using registered agent address and info as a business address/entity.

Now I will need a point of contact. Any ideas on how to get one? Seems like aside from an ID on the person, they are also asking for utility bills? Then maybe video interview verification later? So it really needs to be someone legit, and willing to deal with jumping through hoops and being inconvenienced?

You need real persons for that, they don’t ask for utility bill but video verification is must now
It’s very easy to setup account and video verification override the bill request

How do you convince a friend or relative to do this? You also have to tell them they will never be able to have a Sellers account on Amazon themselves right? I just can't even imagine who I can ask.. plus they have to do a video verification as well?

Do you know any service provider to create a LLC and they can get you an EIN? Also for not US citizen.

You can do this yourself. After your registered agent gives you your state incorporation documents, just get a fax subscription and fax in the SS-4 form.

Did you ever figure out a point of contact for your account? How did you edit this and did it trigger anything?

I found the easiest way to convince someone is offer them money. If its a family member in need of some cash, offer them $300-500 for the account (or more depending on how your bank account is setup).

Desperate times call for desperate measures. I'm sure someone is in need of cash today and willing to give you something they will probably never use in their life.


The video verification is simply Amazon asking for the person (in this case your friend or family) to hold up their ID in the screen, and possibly hold up the bank statement you submitted during registration. Typically, the account gets approved within 24 hours. It's pretty simple and straightforward.
