Professional Selling Plan Defaulted - Individual Not Available?
 

Hi All,

I attempted opening a stealth account yesterday with my friends details (first time doing this). All his documents are legitimate, I'm using his internet on a new laptop, pretty sure all my bases are covered.

However, I wanted to open the account on an individual selling plan so I selected Individual Seller not a business (I forget the exact wording) but farther in the account process I was forced to input credit card details and it said it would be under a professional selling plan charging the 39.99 USD/mth. We then had to do a video verification on the spot. It's been about 24hrs with no response. The account was opened with a new Gmail that was not previously associated with a amazon buying account (fresh signup).

A few questions I have:

1. I want to open other accounts in the future using friends info but as Individual selling plans, what do I need to select in the account open process to make this happen?

2. Does the new account I've just opened have a lower chance of success due to it being opened as a BRAND NEW selling account not previously associated with a buying account?

3. Does the new account I've just opened have a lower chance of success due to it being opened with a professional selling plan?

4. It said 48hrs to hear back on video verification but I've seen a lot of people say they heard within a few hours, should I be worried if I haven't heard yet. Should I be worried If I don't hear back after 48hrs?

1. It’s a catch from amazon on main signup page you need to scroll down and you will see small wording for individual plan with zero fees the one you selected is a legal entity which is wrong
2. Nope that’s nothing to do with old or new buyer account
3.makes no difference
4. I normally get activation email within few minutes of video verification but some time it takes few days

I will note that for future opening! Hopefully this account can still be opened without issue.

I've heard nothing back on the video verification. It actually said up to 72hrs. I am wondering if they are backlogged due to all the US re-verifications taking place recently.

Nope it’s normal I had account verified in few minutes last week after video call
