Proof of address for amazon
 

Hi i need somone to help me on amazon. They sent me this email. My account is 10 years old. What should i send them?

We were unable to verify the information you provided when registering for a Selling on Amazon payment account and, as a result, your Selling on Amazon payment account could not be opened. Unfortunately, this means that you will not be able to continue to sell on Amazon.

Please take appropriate steps to resolve any open orders. Note that any amounts paid as a result of A-to-z Guarantee claims and chargebacks may be deducted from the balance in your existing Seller Account.

I need proof of address. I think i need to be creative. If i am creative will it work?

This message means they know your account detail is Stleath proof of addres will not work at all

Given it's 10 years old, how long is it since you sold anything?

Is it a business account or a personal one?

What makes you think you need to get creative if it's a genuine account?

It's been 5 years I sold something. I need to creative because I think they are not accepted my halifax downloaded statement for proof of address & right now I am not in uk. So I am thinking of other way. Its personal account.

I submit one before they didn't accept it. It was downloaded from bank website. Some people saying i need to give them utility bill coz they don't accept bank statement as a proof of address.

I would get creative use a credit card bill or bank statement, preferably a bank statement attached to the account and have the correct details on it. They can not verify if the name and account number do not match in reality.

Correct, on all my Amazon accounts I have always had to supply address verification and a bank statement. (and ID)

Do not doctor the bank statement you've already submitted as suggested above, that's really bad advice.

Are you 100% sure an edit on bank statement will work for the name?

Have 2 US accts, one has bank in US, the other has bank in Canada. Both are US accounts with a Canadian operating address.
