Identity passed, and procedure used
 

Just got email notification that both US accts passed part one.

Just need AZ to move forward as one section says in progress, the other section says verified.

Here's how we did it.

Identity used : Wife's Health card on one acct and my Passport the other (no addresses on these ID's). Canadian ID's as we are Canadian.

Point of contact address: Used business address on one and a made up one on the other.

Bank statement: Business acct with Names of companies and ID supplied name to match, Names edited to match.

Phone #: a $10 a month pay as you go phone that is set just for each of these accts.

Business ID: straight from the business license, one of which was just purchased recently as it expired.

Now if they could coordinate the verification so we can move forward would be great!

Government of Canada website. Search Register New Business.

Identity passed and they checked off both Identity and phone number.

That opens up the last 3 categories.

Bank account passed. They give you option of personal name on acct or business name. You choose.

Business is straight forward with address to match on file, then 5-7 days (or more) for the postcard delivery.

Hint. If you have an expired PO box, go back to the location (in our case Canada post outlet and UPS outlet). Explain situation and they can set you up with a new box forwarding the mail to the new box number.

Tax ID. Even if Canadian, they pick it up and want the 9 digit tax number from Canada and a digital copy to verify it belongs to the business.

Other option is to pick Individual for tax ID and then you enter SIN number and a digital copy of the SIN number.

Those steps listed was what was needed to pass Identity and Phone number only for Both of our 2 US accts.

Yes, I thought it would knock off more, but it didn't. Just the first two, but once passed, it opens up the last three categories.
