Tax ID verification for INFORM taking a long time

We put our info in for Tax ID almost 70 hours ago on both accounts.

Still marked as "in progress". I know they are busy as we approach D day.

Is it normal for tax to take this long? One acct was a SIN #, the other an HST number. Both accts are situated in Canada selling in the US.

4/5 check marks and they seem to want to make us sweat this out.

they are overwhelmed wit hthe amount of work for verifications they have right now. Its quite normal. There is a big topic on seller central forums, with the tax info taking days and days to verify.
I would not worry too much, aslong as its been submitted before the 27th i do not see any issue

My worry, along with other people, is that since it is not "complete" by the 27th, the accounts will automatically go down.

If AZ does this, I can see a smart Lawyer jumping all over this with a class action, since it is not the sellers fault. Hell, they only set our accts up for inform on June 16th.

They are backed up for at least 2-3 weeks is what most people are saying on the boards

After the 27th the request could drop off keep an eye on it

no one knows what wil happen after the 27th. IMO if you have already submitted it, and its pending, its no longer your issue.

Just checked this afternoon, and both accts are cleared and verified.

No ugly banner on home page. Just a note in acct health that everything is verified.

Thanks to everyone with the hints and tricks. Some editing was needed but we are good to go (until the next stupid thing AZ wants).

my account is a German account.
I do not have a German tax number and documents, so I am trying to create a new US mmllc and provide that tax number and documents to my account.
Will this work? will amazon ask my German tax number again? is it already toasted?
