Default asking about asin

Can I use the same asin label with original account and another account together?
When printing the label, only asin is written, not fnsku.
and when i try to make and print with both account, there's looks alike nothing is changed and different.
so i want to know if sending stuffs without changing label will link accounts or not.
thank you.

If you want to risk linking, sure go ahead.

You do not know what is hidden in the bar code.

Always print from the correct account.

And, ALWAYS, print from the correct account.

It's a risk for sure... wouldn't do it personally

Those types of barcodes can't really have anything hidden in them, I would just not do it because it's a bad habit. You start sharing things between accounts and sooner or later you'll use something that's actually wrong and cause a problem.

Either way, think of it this way, what's more work?
- Printing the barcodes from the correct account
- Printing the barcode from 1 account, then compare it carefully to the pdf you generated on the other account to ensure it's 100% the same.

Of course you can apply the same ASIN label to your stock, it has no account link whatsoever.

That said, why would you want to do that? It is not an Amazon requirement and stock normal only has an EAN/UPC.

Of course it must be said that if you apply your own SKU labels they are account specific and should not be sent to together.

As an ex Amazon account seller you must surely know there is no risk whatsoever. Why say there's a risk for sure then?

Selling on your own asin is fine, but just to be extra careful, I wouldn't be lazy and just print the Labels off each individual accounts

You can't even print an ASIN label via Amazon, it's a number not a barcode and is not account specific in any way whatsoever.

TBH I'm not even clear on what OP is playing at.

I'm not sure either. I thought he's saying he has 2 accounts selling on same asin so he just wants to login to 1 account and print out all the little barcode labels from 1 account then use these on 2 accounts.

No, you cannot use the same ASIN label with your original account and another account together. ASIN labels are unique to each account and cannot be used by multiple accounts. If you try to use the same ASIN label with two different accounts, Amazon will likely flag your account for fraud.

When you print a label, the ASIN and FNSKU are both included on the label. The ASIN is the Amazon Standard Identification Number, which is a unique identifier for a product. The FNSKU is the Fulfillment Network Stock Keeping Unit, which is a unique identifier for a product that is used by Amazon's fulfillment centers.

If you try to ship a product with the same ASIN label on two different accounts, Amazon will likely be able to track the shipment and identify that the product is being shipped from two different accounts. This could lead to your accounts being suspended or terminated.

To avoid this, you should always make sure that the ASIN label matches the account that you are shipping the product from. If you are shipping the product from two different accounts, you will need to create two separate labels, one for each account.

Here are some tips for avoiding account linking when shipping products on Amazon:

Always use the correct ASIN label for each account.
Make sure that the shipping address and contact information for each account are different.
Use different payment methods for each account.
Do not use the same email address for both accounts.
By following these tips, you can help to reduce the chances that your Amazon accounts will be linked.

I hope this helps!

For FBA, when the product needs to be "relabeled" (covering the Bar code) then each account has a different unique number that identifies the product and seller. It's part of AZ's counterfeiting program (so they say anyways).

If the item does not need to be restickered, than the accounts don't matter.

And if it is FBM, no stickering would be necessary at all (Dah)
