Is my Amazon account toast?
 

I have a healthy running Amazon account - Account A

I also have a healthy stealth account (Account B)- all info different. I recently changed the bank info on this one and stupidly added the bank info from account A.



No disbursements have been made to Account B and the bank info wasn't verified. As soon as I realised 10 minutes later I deleted Account A's bank info from account B.

Are the Amazon accounts linked now?

I know its possible to have 2 Amazon accounts now without permission but is there a definite link or chances there is no link as no disbursements were made to Account B?

No it's not toast yet but a link has surely been made.

Nobody here can tell you for sure but it's best to assume that if one goes down then they both might...then again they might not. Only time will tell, what's done is done.

Hank is right on - the link is likely set due to the bank info. how long have your accounts been active?

thanks - both accounts are 3 years + old and healthy

The bank was not verified, deleted after 10 mins and no disbursements made so I'm hoping no link was made.

Forget it and move on, nothing you can do about it.

It is possible that the two Amazon accounts are linked, even though you deleted the bank information from Account B. Amazon uses a variety of factors to link accounts, including IP address, payment information, and shipping address. If any of these factors match between the two accounts, then Amazon may link them.

However, it is also possible that the accounts are not linked. If the bank information was not verified and no disbursements were made, then Amazon may not have had enough information to link the accounts.

still, I wouldn't risk. give it some time and see if any of them gets some type of suspension before you start with serious work.
