dropshipping on amazon

i heard that on amazon should send products to their warehouses to start selling is this real?
is it possible dropshipping from ebay... to amazon?

agent006140 07-08-2023 06:18 AM

sending your merchandise to AMZN warehouse so it can manage your inventory and fill your orders is possible.

if you sell an item you do not have i on AMZN, take customer money ,then look for that item and ask the Ebay seller to ship to your AMZN customer is not dropshipping,it is retail arbitrage.
AMZN does not like it,but may not be able to find out until the buyer complains?
What happens if the buyer wants to return the item?

retail arbitrage is a smart ass idea and some buyers will retaliate,he would either report you,or claim item is defective and make you pay for return, return an empty box or deliberately damage your item.

FBA is you the seller sent your merchandise to AMZN warehouse, when a buyer places an order,AMZN will ship for you.
It sounds like you dont have any inventory,so FBA is not for you.
You want to find the goods on EBay and ask the Ebay seller to ship to your AMZN buyer.
- there are still plenty of Ebay sellers whop list an item ,when an Ebay buyer places the order, come to AMZN with his prime account and find an AMZN seller to fill the order.
That AMZN seller could be you???
It would be so funny !!!!!!!

She has no clue what is going on,let her find out the hard way

cant you tell she wants to do what she wants to do,sell on amzn fullfilled by Ebay seller, makes no difference what we tell her,so the best is to find out from experience.

Most AMZN sellers are in business, they own the merchandise and they may even have a physical store and can easily re-order from manufacturer and distributors, but Ebay has a large number of individual sellers who find items in storage auctions, garage sales or attics, some may not even have any merchandise, they just use their AMZN prime account to fill their Ebay orders.
So it is easier to sell on Ebay and find an AMZN seller to fill your order than sell on AMZN and find an Ebay seller to fill your order,
Either way is not easy,as tons of people are doing it now.
Best is to secure some capital, vsit your local wholesale district, merchandise mart or tradeshows,to find something to sell, some retailers would also play wholesalers by giving you a 20% discount

You mean you have been selling on AMZN and finding Ebay sellers with crude pictures and buy from them, asking them to ship to your AMZN buyers for 12 years?
Are those items with crude pictures good enough for your AMZN buyers? and how easy is it to find them on Ebay?

I wouldn't be surprised if Amazon got a list of all the major retailer's UPS account numbers and banned any seller who inputs one of those as a tracking number for something sold on Amazon.

If you got Walmart's UPS account on your tracking number, you're clearly not walmart so Amazon can say with a high degree of certainty that they should suspend you.

He said he looks for small sellers with homemade crude photos on Ebay and buy from them, not WMT or Ebay seller who play the same game like him, except the traffic is sell on Ebay, buy from AMZN

Third party WMT sellers, when a buyer wants to pick up at local WMT store,WMT will send the seller a free UPS shipping label to the local WMT store.so the buyer can go and pick up the item in his local WMT store

FBA is one of the easiest ways to sell on Amazon yes

You can also drop ship but amazon is really strict on that

If we're going to keep this real, the simple answer is no. Its a terrible idea.

I'll give any account that tries this a matter of weeks before it is suspended, which would be a shame if it had passed verification and was a legitimate selling account.

If you want to make any money on Amazon then take it seriously.

You either do FBM which is ship your own inventory to customers yourself
or

FBA you get amazon to ship for you. NOTHING else matters.

Do NOT dropship one way or the other.

I highly highly recommend you read the amazon sections in the forum to get yourself acquainted with amazon and ask us more questions before you start selling.

Well obviously she's new... that's why I told her what I told her to do.

You don't just f'ing go around and tell people like that to find out the hard way.

She's here for a guidance. So reply accordingly or don't reply at all.

This forum was created years ago to guide people. Aspkin didn't create this forum and all of his books to tell people to figure it out themselves. She will receive real-life experience regardless, but it doesn't hurt to share tips. Teaching people will not mess up your business.

To answer your question, dropshipping is dangerous now. Years ago amazon was less strict, but now they suspend people for it. Your better off sending to fba for the sake of your account. Find product researchers or visit product events. Have products on hand before you sell.

Dropshipping is fine. Just don’t be stupid about it (ie sending products from Walmart or any other source that is identifiable). It’s also higher risk for many other reasons (low quality control, out of stock problems)

Re: dropshipping on amazon

Dropshipping is possible, but only through wholesalers. You also must follow Amazon's rules on dropshipping. Using another retailer/ecommerce site is a recipe for disaster.

I honestly think it's how you deal with tracking as well. Some friend told me he stopped getting drop shipping issues when he started using tracking numbers directly from Amazon. A lot of people will use ⊗⊗⊗⊗ tracking numbers and then change them later to the real ones, which sets flags. I really dont think its customers complaining about boxes. I think amazon started a detection system in the tracking numbers.

In all seriousness, stop abusing amazon prime for your dropshipping...

I think this is true as well. I do this with my accounts and 2 of em went under. When you say your friend uses Amazon tracking numbers, is he confirming the shipment by purchasing label from Amazon?
