Is Amazon still forcing video verification for new sellers?
 

Ive been creating stealth accounts for 10 years thanks to this forum. I created 2 accounts last week , different IDs on each and USA address. I had to get the post cards for each but they never made me do a video verification on either. The accounts were approved without issue. Other accounts I made in the past forced me to do video verifications. Im want to know if others experienced this. If Amazon is getting rid of the video verification that would make it so much easier to make accounts again.

Yes, only postcards, no video verification. It passed through on both accounts in 3 days after I received the cards. Just checking if anyone else noticed this?

Nope, these days no video verification no postal card request nothing accounts getting approved straight away

I still got the postcard on both accounts, no video though. Do you think because the inform act screwed amazon up? Even seller support is acting slightly more helpful. They put back a way to reach out. Im not going to get to comfortable because amazon always has a way of messing up a good thing.

I had someone I know create an account and they had to do a video verification. They used their USA drivers license and bank statement and still got hit with the video verification

Maybe they playing favorites based off info. I did use commercial addresses. Possibly their system prefers that better.

You probably were making accounts when they are doing a video raid.

But normally new accounts get post card verification which is very easy to deal with.

Video verification usually means your account is flagged

I agree, post card verifications are easy to get by.
