Brand Registry Canada - Stealth Acc
 

Wondering if anyone has had success doing brand registry with a stealth account in Canada.

Wondering what information will be required from the stealth account or if I can just get the trademark for the brand in my name and still use it on the stealth account?

I don't believe its possible to do brand registry with a stealth account - I could be wrong though

The info on the shop would have to match the brand registered info - unless its a stealth brand registry

Yes it’s possible as long as you have trademark registered on that name

Ok, so register the trademark to match the account name of the individual instead of my own. Shouldn't be an issue. Thanks for the clarification!

I know in the UK you can register a trademark in any name at any address you like and they won't even check it.

Their 'safety valve' is for it to be challenged when it's published in the journal.

I know folk who've obtained trademarks by using false names via closed Limited Companies.

I'll wager Canada has a similar system too. Should be easy to get it to match the selling account details.
