What is the hidden listing restriction here?

Ok, so basically, one of my accounts can list this product, but all the other ones I checked get this message with no option to apply or anything. So there's some kind of hidden requirement here.

Oh, and just to add to this, the account that CAN list it has never sold this product or brand before, so it has nothing to do w/ past selling of that ASIN.

Well, the ASIN I don't want to share as I am an unauthorized seller on it. My accounts are all created in a similar way, the biggest difference between the account that is allowed to list the product and the ones that aren't is the sales for the past year on the accounts. The one that's allowed has about 700K in sales for the past 12 months, the rest are much lower than that.

Does anyone know if this is a criteria for Amazon to gate things? Basing it off the seller's sales volume?

unauthorized seller - looks like AZ caught on - it is possible that the authorized seller has been cleaning house...

It's an odd situation, because other ASINs belonging to this brand can be listed with all my accounts. It's just this one ASIN that can't be (and it's not even the best ASIN), and it's still listable with 1 account.

They're all US based shops.

The one that's capable of listing was created in 2020, i have both older and newer ones and none of them can list it.

Yeah, its unfortunate because being limited to selling it on 1 account is bad for multiple reasons, one of which is if I have a problem on that account (either asin specific or account wide) then I can't sell it anywhere else. And with some brands if you periodically switch seller accounts they get less antsy about unauthorized resellers vs 1 person that's constantly on it.

Honestly I've seen the opposite of what you mentioned most of the time.
And flooding an asin that's protected with multiple accounts has created issues, issues that I see even recently with some VERY experienced sellers too

I don't mean doing it concurrently, if you slam an asin with half a dozen unauthorized sellers at once you'll probably grab their attention a lot faster.
If you sell on an account for a couple weeks, disappear for a month, then sell on a diff account for a couple weeks, disappear for a month, etc, you tend to grab less attention that way.

If you shorten "couple weeks" to "couple days" you have even less issues
