Account deactivated but is this a second chance?

Tried to change legal entity and have gone through submitting ID, proof address, articles of association. The last submission I made was deposit account bank statement.

Got the failed email verification "Your Amazon selling account has failed our verification process. As a result, you can no longer sell on Amazon....We leveraged a combination of automated means and expert human review to identify this issue and make this decision".

The account says it's deactivated when logging in.

I made a token attempt to find out why by appealling and asking the issue.

I have just received an email entitled' Action required to complete verification'. It reads..."We were unable to complete the ownership verification of one of your deposit methods on your Amazon Seller account.

Please log in to your Seller Central account to take the next action to complete your deposit method verification."

When logging in I have the option to upload my bank statement with the 'retry' button highlighted.

My middle name was missing on statement so it's possible this was the issue (although my gut feeling is deactivation would only be caused by a big issue....eg: ID fail)

"We leveraged a combination of automated means and expert human review to identify this issue and make this decision"

They said this?

That sounds unusual. Normally Amazon just has a very simple "we cannot provide further information"

Maybe it's something new?

Made mistake with ID so probably picked up by machine and then confirmed by human.

if her issue is missing middle initial, then human should overide machine

Normally they would ask you to resubmit. Deactivation is usually end of line and suggests game is up.

I will resubmit and post back if things work out.

Nah, Amazon wants things to be EXACT.

I had an ID have Apt 10 as the address. I put in the address on the application as Apt10 by mistake, it got rejected.

The human will just confirm "yep, middle initial is in fact missing" and reject it.

The details of the bank account must exactly match the details of the Limited Company.

It's now the same with the back up credit card, I've used personal cards in the past, registered at my home address. Been fine for years. Last time I needed to update it it failed, only passed when I added one issued to the registered office.

The good news is the account isn't dead yet, the bad news is you're now at the mercy of their 'expert humans'.

I've resubmitted new bank statement but I think this issue was separate to the deactivation.

I'm guessing different people are reviewing different things at different times.

I got a standard email when the bank statement failed even though the whole account had already failed verification.

I got this email this morning which relates to my original token appeal...."We reviewed your account and the information you provided, and we have decided that you may not open a selling on Amazon account.

Why did I receive this message?
You cannot sell on Amazon.co.uk and Amazon European stores if you do not have a selling on Amazon account".

If you register any new accounts, we may also decline them.

Well from my experience deactivation is game over.. Unfortunately, even if required documents are provided.
