Switch Beneficial Owner of LLC For Amazon Account Verification
 

If I was to register my stealth Amazon account to a new sole proprietor LLC. Would it work to change the legal ownership of my LLC to a friend once Amazon asks me to verify the beneficial owner of the LLC. I could then show my friend ID and other legit information required. Then, change beneficial owner back to me once Amazon accepts the verification.

If this is for USA amazon, you can update the LLC and there shouldn't be additional information requested once you add it

You can't change the original registered owner of the shop, you would have to create a new shop for that

Thank you for your response. I would initially register to Canada marketplace since I’m from there but I’m looking to sell on both USA and CAN marketplace.

If by shop you mean my Amazon account, I am not looking to change the registered owner on the Amazon account.

In order for Amazon not to link myself (beneficial owner of the LLC of the amz account) to my old amz account, I would change beneficial owner of the LLC only for the time period Amazon is verifying the registered owner, than put the LLC back to my name. Since they already have my address/ID info, Amazon won’t link my name during their inspection and then I can get back ownership under the radar.

On top of all of this, have you actually read the amazon ghost as well?
