Can Amazon rep take down listings for inauthentic?
 

This customer keeps emailing me back and forth and I'm refusing to issue a refund because the product packaging has changed and the customer stated it's not the product. I guess he called into Amazon and they forwarded me his return request. Now since he contacted Amazon the listing went down am for customer complaint. However the language in the emails don't mention ⊗⊗⊗⊗ or anything that would take down the listing. No feedback or product review. The email I just got is basically the same wording we've been going back and forth for a week now but it's very intriguing that I received that email from the Amazon rep and then the listing is down.

I wonder if the reps have the ability to take down listings like that? They are requesting 365 days of invoices. Oh frickin joy. Going to be fun.

Painful lesson learned. On Amazon the buyer is always right and as seller we must live by this mantra.

IMO refusing returns for any reason, as petty as it might seem, is crazy.

Amazon's bots use keywords to flag listings and demand documentation.

Your mistake is not immediately processing the return, the less the buyer says the less likely there's a problem.

Listing is back up :) I don't like caving into customers unless there is a real issue, customers will walk all over you and then back track if you allow it.

It is always a good idea to accept return,now what kind of feedback he is going to leave you.

Yes, an amazon CS can do a lot of damage.

Imagine a monkey with low IQ and they use multiple choice to greet you and ask you questions. BUT they have a big red hot button to nuke you from India.

Unfortunately you can't block a customer on amazon and there are times you'll have to turn the other cheek to keep the account going.

My logic too.

Anyone who thinks it's worth picking a fight with a buyer on Amazon should just picture that big red button and decide if swallowing their pride is easier than chocking on that big red button.
