Amazon Selling in 2024

Is it still worth it? I made a killing years ago doing retail arbitrage, but of course that was not very long lived. Never got into FBA because low margins on name brand stuff. Creating your own brand / white label is a diff story, but I don't have the capital.

I was excited as heck few months ago when I was able to successfully create a new store, but then I just thought about all the hardships and hassles Amazon gave me back in the day. I went from doing 20-30k in sales a month to suspended and hopeless as there is virtually zero seller support. They held onto 25k of mine for months as I created appeal after appeal and stressing financially, then they finally released most of it. They kept 6k and transferred it to themselves similar to how Paypal does the same under AUP (pp took 4k from me doing this). I still am trying to save up to create a AAA case against them. That was another thing stopping me from listing on amazon as didn't want to interfere with the case.

Its still very popular especially this time of year going into the holiday

Its harder for sure, but many still make a living through FBA

I believe for an amount like 6K you can settle it in small claims court and not have to go through the arbitration process. I've seen people claim they got paid after filing a small claims case against Amazon.

Do your own research of course, I'm not a lawyer and I don't know if those stories I've seen are true or not.

I'll have to look into it, but i've also moved states since then, so idk if I should look into filing in the old state the account was in or my new one. Either way I don't think I would win since I literally have nothing to show lol, I don't even have a screenshot of the money in the account nor does the account show amazon actually sending it to themselves. Sneaky sneaky.

Do you have an email history of items sold?

If so you can use that with bank record withdrawals to show the amount missing

And file it in the old state
