Account Toast?
 

Amazon is asking for a video interview on an already video verified stealth account. Does anyone know a way around this or is the account toast? I do not have the original identity documents as this account was purchased.

How can I verify my identity?
To verify your identity, you must register and show up for a virtual identity verification.

How do I register for virtual identity verification?
To register for virtual identity verification, follow the on-screen instructions provided in the "Virtual Identity Verification Form":


The form is hosted by Qualtrics which is an external company, so the link does not lead to our website.

Who should attend the video interview?
The owner and operator of this account should attend this verification interview. Depending on your business model, we understand there may be additional business partners who are integral to your business operations. These additional parties may also attend the verification interview, as long as they have substantiating documentation showing their relationship to the business.

What happens if I do not sign-up for a virtual identity verification?
If you do not schedule an appointment using the link provided within 14 days of this notification, or if your verification is not successful, your account will be deactivated.

What can I do to avoid account deactivation?
Schedule an appointment for virtual identity verification before 11-30-2023. You will receive a virtual identity verification invitation after completing the registration form. Show up for the virtual identity verification at the time indicated on your invitation."

Anytime "section 3" is mentioned it's almost always bad news.

If you don't have the ID document then this account is done, unless the account seller can re-video verify it. Even then, the fact section 3 is mentioned makes me believe they already made a decision here.

What did you do (if anything) that you think triggered this?

The account had a bunch of problems. Basically I got locked out of the account but fbm sales kept flowin for two months. All were canceled and tanked my metrics. I put details of this in another post. Finally when I got back in the account amazon agreed to let me to continue sell (about a month ago). Since then I have been working on fixing the metrics. ODR and late shipment were the only problems in the account.

Most likely you'll have to go through chime video verification which will ask you many additional questions against public record

Its not the same video verification as registration

Unless you are friends with the account owner you'll most likely not be able to pass it
