US Amazon Bank Account Verification
 

Hi,

Could anyone please help? I'm trying to verify my bank account on Amazon US, but the bank account is in my business name,

The Amazon verification is trying to force me to provide a statement with my individual name instead of the business name which I can't do.

I've updated the Legal Entity information so that it is my business name.
It's an LLC which I believe is an S Corp.

Is there something obvious I am missing that will let me verify the account using the business name instead?

Or is it just a case of submitting the bank statement with the name matching the Legal entity, even though it doesn't match the name mentioned within the actual verification?

Like Rsot said, edit the PDF to include your name under the business name.
Worked for me.

Dont edit pdf this can and will eventually suspend your account.
Amazon with recent UBI policy will check with the bank for name matching.
Your best option is talk to support direclt.

edited pdfs are easily detectable. gotta take it one step further. a very simple extra one step..

Yes, always print the edit, then scan as a PDF. If scanner only does Jpeg, it's not a big deal. AZ will accept the Jpeg.

Works for us for verification and invoices.

Thanks for the advice everyone.

It turned out to be fine. The name on the statement matched the legal entity, so that was good enough apparently. Even though the verification check box was stuck on a different name not on the statement.

I didn't need to message support or anything. Just thought I'd post this in case anyone else has the same issue in the future.
