Video interview to unlock funds from suspended Amazon
Hi, does anyone have experience going through a video interview to receive the blocked funds after all appeal attempts have been rejected? I know that there is a good chance of success even for ghost accounts. I know that they ask questions mainly about supply chain. I know that they don't check your face against the document which was provided during registration. |

I had one account that was suspended after it was linked to another account I did not recognise- 90days later I tried to get the funds disbursed but they wanted me to go through verification again with a video call. So I walked away. |

| Yes tried everything, Hard to prove you are not connected to an account- they just kept telling me to get the linked account reactivated and then contact them.. Since the linked account was not one of mine impossible to reactivate it. |

UPDATE:
So I 've gone through interviews for two of my accounts. My problem is that I don't have invoices for the big brands that I 've sold. They didn't like the invoices which I cooked for them and refused to release my balance based on the decision that invoices were manipulated.
Just several years ago they returned all the money automatically after 90 days hold for all cases except related accounts. Now even after a completed annoying video interview (where you feel like you are talking to a prosecutor) they just send you away. So video interview itself is not a solution, what they need is legitimate invoices which they probably verify by calling.
What do you think will happen if next time I just say that I don't have invoices and ask THEM to prove that my goods were not alright (they were absolutely fine). In this way, I am not falsifying anything. Do they still have right in this case to strip me out of money, I wonder? |

| I believe this is against their own terms and conditions because there is no mention of it until you're suspended.
They also use a third party which many would say was an unacceptable data/privacy issue.
Send them a 'Letter before action' and use the Small Claims Court, I have a feeling that you'd win even if they let it get that far, my gut feeling is they wouldn't. |

| if the account is in your real name and the amount is large enough you can take them to court , I doubt their point of view would stand |

| Amazon is fairly vicious on blocking and keeping money - you are going to have to fight this hard - options given by other posters are worth exploring |

I have 20k locked up on a deactivated account. I have a real invoice from a supplier, but this account is completely stealth other than the address. Am I able to change the account info to my real info so I can bypass the interview? What kinds of questions did they ask? |

| You wont be able to change the account info to your real info - the account is deactivated...but are you able to still log on? |

yes, Im still able to log in to submit appeals. As far as I know, I'm still able to change account info while I'm deactivated. |

If I were you, I'd keep trying to appeal the suspension because that linked account got nothing to do with you. |

| Buy a good printer and print what's needed. You can also try finding someone who looks like original owner for the interview, but this is optional. The most important thing for the interview outcome is the quality of invoices, ID is the easiest part. |
