AMZN return

I bought an item recently and it was missing a piece so I want to return the item.
In the past AMZN will give me a UPS return label,now it just send me a code and ask me to take it to WHOLEFOOD store>
is this the new return policy now>
save money by making me drop it off at Wholefood?

Depending on the product you bought, price and weight.
But it is a cheaper way for Amazon so they save more money.
although before there was a home collection.
