| leamprotan | 04-22-2024 02:30 PM | Listing PL Products from Suspended Account Wondering if there's any advice on listing products from a recently suspended account. It was a private label (non brand registered) product that I was the only seller on. It has about 40 SKUs and hundreds of reviews across the products.
Typically I have been listing products from suspended accounts at a 10:1 ratio without issue but these are products with multiple sellers not PL.
I am wondering if there's any safe way to resell these products under the same listings on a newer stealth account so I can keep the reviews.
Or should I abandon the listings, create new ones with the same brand name but slightly changed and start fresh?
Can I reuse the images after slightly changing white space or other minor elements?
Thanks! |

Thanks! | The best thing you can do is new listings, don't use the old photos, if you don't have any more photos remember to change the metadata. The description is intended to be not the same as the previous listing. |

Re: Listing PL Products from Suspended Account Are the listing still active (available) on AZ?
Were you brand registered?
Did you ever let AZ know you are the only authorized seller?
Just thinking as if your company sold your stock to another company????
Spitballing here.

I'd use a new account and try to resell on that asin. And see if you get linked or not. I think it's worth it to try |

I wasn't brand registered and I never let AZ know I was the only authorized seller. Just created the listing originally on this suspended account and was selling on it. I was the only seller on all the SKUs.
The product was in grocery and the new account isn't approved in grocery yet.
I am sure selling the stock to another company would make sense to you and I but not sure if Amazon would see it this way or just link the accounts.
I don't want to risk the new account and just play safe so wasn't sure if a 10:1 ratio would also work if I slowly introduced each SKU over time?
Thoughts? |

I am curious for the photos is it just a metadata wipe or do I also need to resize and slightly change the photos to avoid linking? |

Thoughts? | Cart before the horse. You need the approval in grocery before any action. Approvals are NEVER guaranteed.
If this is your brand, do new photos. If not, remove the metadata as advised.
Have you gone to 'add a product' and entered the UPC of one of the products? This will tell you if the product still exists in the AZ catalogue. Then you can just add them from there SLOWLY.
AZ doesn't know it's your brand, and doesn't care where they come from. Only care if they are legit.

PhD | Yes, I have invoices ready for grocery approval - Usually after 6 months - 1 year of selling I have found that grocery approval is automatic, so this invoice will just speed up the process and they have worked on all my other accounts for this purpose.
I have gone to 'add a product' and see that all the products are still in the Amz catalogue.
It is my brand but if they are still listed on Amazon I do not need to change any photos correct? Just list under the products that are already there?
I am curious, to add them slowly does that mean to work in with other products at a 10:1 ratio or higher? Or simply just add 1-3 SKUs per month? Or is it a combo of both?
Thanks for your responses! |

Myself I would list 5-10 products, and one on the AZ listing, then wait 3 weeks to see what happens. If nothing happens, you should be good to add a couple more after that.

| Mr_Blue_Sky | 04-25-2024 02:34 PM | Re: Listing PL Products from Suspended Account I lost an Amazon account some years ago and opened another account.
I drip fed my old ASINs into the account amongst some newly created ones.
After about 6 months I ramped up the old ASINs and after about 12 months I'd got stock against all my old listings.
If you decide to make new ASINs to copy your old ones then I'd suggest a variation in the title and ensuring your image library was stripped of metadata. No need to resize, no need to amend the description. |
| leamprotan | 04-26-2024 09:26 AM | Re: Listing PL Products from Suspended Account Alright,
Thanks for everyone's contributions and experiences. I think I'll go the route of slow introduction of the established ASINs and see where that gets me.
I'll update here with my progress! |

| leamprotan | 05-14-2024 10:16 AM | Re: Listing PL Products from Suspended Account UPDATE:
It has been approx. 2 weeks since listing the first SKU of 40 from my previous PL brand that was not brand registered or had any authorized sellers under it. There was no issues in these 2 weeks and I used about 20 new ASINs to work in this one SKU. I've sold about 10 or so of this SKU without issue.
I have now, just yesterday, added 2 more of the SKUs along with 20 more new ASINs and will wait to see the results. I expect sales to steadily increase as I add more SKUs.
These products are all sold through FBA and it is currently an Individual selling account. I have maxed my inventory limits as it is an individual selling plan.
Is it risky to also upgrade to a professional selling plan now or should I wait longer? Account is approx. 2 months old.. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 10:58 AM. | |
