Anyway to create some kind of generic listing safely?

I have a bunch of older items and Amazon removed the listings. Saying the UPC codes no longer match the database or something. I dont remember exactly but just some BS.. so I can't exactly create a new listing using the same UPC codes or they will be removed.

Is there any way I can safely create a generic etc listing to move these and then disappear? I understand the listing is forever in the catalog once it's created...I just wanna move these products. If I have 100+ units and can fetch $200 you do the math:) if it's my own listing, can I just go in later and change everything with no issues or even with generic/pl listings you can't change anything?

Suggestions? eBay would net me half of what I could bring in on Amazon. It's just a different playing field...

Listings as in Asins right?
Is there no way for you to use a new UPC code or so?

That's what I'm asking.. I have no idea how to go about this, because I've never done it. I suspect using a new UPC code on an actual brand item might not work because I'll be in the same situation. Amazon is verifying the UPC codes now, and if everything doesn't match up they will take the listing down. So my thought process is just creating a generic listing that doesn't use a UPC code(I believe?) and sell out, then disappear. But i believe Amazon is going to start to go after these generic listings so I have to kinda erase any traces of the listing I create once I sell out.

You can use UPC for this, I think it is a better option, or how do you do it?

If it is a branded item, already in the database, then Amazon are very likely to spot you trying to create a generic listing for it and try and block you. Even with properly purchased UPC's it might be an issue.

As for erasing all traces of it and your contact with it then that's never going to happen, even if you delete the ASIN from your listings they will always come back to you in the future if they have an issue with it. I have an old Amazon account, over a decade without any activity, which is still suspended. I deleted all ASIN's leaving a bare account. To this day I still get 'your listing has been removed' messages and a strike against the account.
