Default Amazon wont respond to my 2step unlock

I've been locked out of one of my Amazon stores for over 3 months. Ive tried contacting Amazon many times to unlock the 2step because I lost the phone number connected to it. Ive called , and emailed, also uploaded real documentation through the link. The team refuses to respond. The team keeps telling me ill get a response in 48 hours. Nothing happens. Has anyone noticed this issue?

It happens to my mother's AMZN seller account a few months ago when her phone number is no longer hers,I called and some rep fixed it.
There is this phone number,you have to keep trying to reach a rep

It feels like your account has been failed on an appeal - how much funds are locked up/ have you had disbursement pass through successfully before/

There was no appeal. My account is not suspended. They just haven't been responsive to disabling my 2-step since I lost the phone number. I never started listing from this account. I should have used google authenticator instead.

Since it's not suspended and never in use,I may just make another and use the authenticator next time. They shouldn't have an issue since the other wasn't used before.

Why do you think they are not answering to the link that directly handles 2 step disables? They use to answer in less than 2 hours on other accounts.

If you need to renew your info because of expired contact, sending them that ticket is the right place to be.

THey'll ask for your driver's license front and back, you give it to them then you wait.

Usually it'll take 48-72 hours.

I know that's how it's supposed to work. I've done it on my other accounts in the past. My point is that Amazon is not responsive to that feature anymore. Im not the only person on this forum who complained about them not responding. I know what the normal process is suppose to be for having them manually disable the 2step. Its their staff just sucking as usual.

They do suck.... no denying that.

Ever seen the movie idiocracy? Where the staff looks at the computer with multiple choice of answers to give?

They did responded,but just asking me to enter the old phone number,but I finally managed to get hold of someone who helped me,but the auto emails kept coming ,so it is a mix of bot and human,did you calll ?

They finally did it , after 3 months of calling, emailing and uploading my Goverment ID all of sudden I get this email:

I actually have never seen this happen. The longest issue for me recently took just 4 days to resolve.

Why did you not click on the "did not receive code" on sign in. Then you can switch to authenticator app until you get a new phone number?

I didnt have the authenticator setup at the time I made this account. I only did the phone number. But its ok , I got the account back now.
