Disbursement Not Paid Out - Sales + Account Normal
 

Never seen this issue before but wondering if anyone has experience with a similar issue:

One stealth account was supposed to have a pay out ($10,000) on the disbursement date, the day before disbursement date the available balance changed to $0.

Account is approx. 8 months old, has good account health, no performance notifications, no notification at all, sales are still coming in regularly, inventory still all active. When I go to account health page there is a small box in the bottom left that says:

Payment Policy
"Funds are held while your account is under review. Learn More"

The learn more links to performance notification page but there isn't anything new there. Support has been useless saying its just an Account level reserve and there is no account review taking place. However, the next disbursement date also has a total balance of $0.

I thought this might be a velocity review as this was the first time the account hit $20,000 in a single disbursement period (have had multiple payouts around $15,000 and 17,000) but all sales are FBA. Ads have also been stopped as funds balance is $0 even though the account reserve is $15,000 and I refuse to pay with CC not knowing if this account will be suspended or something.

Any thoughts on what this might be?

Yes, FBA only. Orders are still being shipped.

Normal amount of returns.

One quality issue regarding a product that was new sold as used but dealing with this via a bin check as its a grocery item. However, this arose AFTER that disbursement date and after the balance was not paid. That listing is at risk of removal (still active) but this is a first time issue and shouldn't be a problem after the bin check.

Maybe not all of them but the majority I would say yes, this is 100s of orders from the past few weeks.

Have you charged/updated charged method or bank account recently? If not then account is under review and as you said stealth account more likely funds will be held

I would stop selling immediately on this account

No changes to account at all. It is a stealth account but opened with a friend's details so lower risk. Should I still stop selling?

I've seen some occurrences of this issue on seller forums and some people said they magically got paid out after the review cleared but they didn't get any info on the review or what happened just a big disbursement after an unknown waiting period.

It was nearly expired a while back but made the change maybe 2-3 months ago without issue at the time. The new one is updated and active on the account.

same thing as reviews on ebay but takes longer , in this case you should stop selling. if the review ends without issues you resume selling but if you get suspended you risk losing both the balance and the FBA inventory so that minimizing the possible damage should be the priority now

Yes, makes sense to minimize risk.. Just strange as there was no email or performance notification stating that a review was taking place. Just cut off payment but didn't suspend account and sales are still coming in.

Account is made with all legit details so shouldn't be any issues with the review. However, some listings are from old suspended account but worked in with various other inventory. I thought it was a sales threshold that was hit.

Have you asked AMZN why?
It could either be a mistake as they use bots OR something has gone seriously wrong.
Can you tell us what you sell?
It could also be your buyer- his source of payment ,could be a stolen credit card ?

Yeah, hoping its bots and just waiting for a manual review? I don't know what would have gone seriously wrong if they didn't just instantly suspend the account?

Grocery, Electronics, Books mainly.

What do you mean by my buyer? Nothing is stolen from the details used for account creation.

Your buyer could have used a gift card or a credit card which is not his?
In the early years,AMZN would not accept any credit card issued in Thailand due to fraud,there are also cases where buyer will buy a gift card cheap,the reason why it is cheap is that the seller used a stolen cc to buy these cards and need to sell them fast before the owner of the cc find out and file a chargeback with cc issuer.
if you call AMZN,they should tell you why the balance is zero.

So,the stealth account is in your friend's name?
and whose credit card and bank account are linked to that stealth account?

Their FBA inventory is not at risk whatsoever.

Odd, I checked my 3 active accounts, they all have that same message.. No notifications of review. Funds available 0 for all 3 of em.

Yea, its been about 5 days now. I've done some reading on the amazon seller forums and saw 3 other posts today from separate people who are experiencing the same issue. Not sure what is going on, hoping its a glitch or its just a big review? Not really sure but still $0.00 balance with over $20K on hold..

Is the $20k balance come from many small orders OR just a few large orders?

Are these accounts Canadian mainly, large amounts of revenue, anything risky? Just curious if we have any account similarities that triggered the review.

I've seen 3 separate seller forum posts of people complaining about the same issue in the last couple days so it must be affecting a lot of sellers. All my other accounts are normal with no problem disbursing funds.

You are in Canada,and use FBA,are your goods all located in CA AMZN warehouses or some in USA?
Have you called AMZN and ask why?
Once they shut down my account (I sell a few books only) and then they said it was a mistake,and re-open my account?
Do you have anything which is either a knockoff,or contains substance whiich is considered illegal?
Your post is a few days old,I am curious why have you not called AMZN?

Nothing risky. few sales. couple hundred bucks in each of them. US account

Haven't called, just done live support chat and opened a case. Is calling better support? Just have a different phone number linked to the account so its not the easiest thing to do but I can. Just thought the support would be just as useless.

I have invoices if needed but nothing that would be considered knockoff or illegal substances that I could see.

Yeah, let me know if your disbursement changes. Still no answer about mine and next payout is in about a week showing $0.00 still. This account is higher sales volume, hundreds of orders and a little under 9 months old all FBA.

I called account health support for 2 accounts. They both said changing my bank account or charge card would affect my account. I did this a month ago and received a disbursement shortly after though. They said it should be resolved within a week. Probably bs but I'll call again if I don't see anything happen.

Interesting... I did update my charge method 1-2 months ago but have also gotten disbursements since then.. It was because the CC was expiring. I'm going to be calling next week if I still don't have any update after this next upcoming disbursement or cases etc aren't answered.

Sent in a small shipment today just incase the are monitoring, want to seem normal business as usual vibes...

Keep me updated if you make any progress, I'll do the same.
