Tax interview
 

Recently bought a fresh seller central account from someone I know and I am working on setting it up.

I have a new user account on my MacBook I’m using for logging into this account.

Using a mobile hotspot after turning on and off airplane mode.

Firefox as my browser.


It’s missing the tax interview and I have a few questions.


Tonight, I created a new EIN on the IRS site using my info that is banned, thinking Amazon won’t need to see it.

However, I’m getting the error saying the name and tax ID provided do not match IRS records.


Could this be because I literally created the EIN an hour ago?

What is the solution for this? Do I need to recreate the EIN but this time use my friends information to register the business?

I think it takes like a week to update.

Look at past history there was a user with a fat cat profile pic he explains it.

Also something about the EIN and name matching.
