Any Canada sellers?

So I have a bunch of packages stuck between the USA and Canada due to the strike. Is there anyway I can get these packages delivered back to me. They are just standing still

The strike is over as off 2 weeks'ish ago - you have tracking on them?

With USPS ,we have a service called mail intercept, file a form and pay a fee,USPS will ask the local post office of the receiver to either hold package or return the package to the seller.
Is there such in Canada?

Right, but I can't with these packages because they are international.. its just BS. This is 2025 lol.

Right - I don't think you can intercept once it's gone international - Canada tracking is updated fairly regularly though...

Yes,you can,you just have to ask Canadian post office to contact USPS,but not for all packages,
I did that with Russia once.
But it could take a long time before it comes back to you.
You are better off let it get delivered in US

Nice - what did you end up getting back from Russia when you intercepted the parcel?

Re: Any Canada sellers?

A Russian buyer claimed he is in UK and bought a piece of gold jewelry from me ,asked to be sent to his mother in Russia.
He asked me not to send by USPS priority mail as it does not allow gold items, which is not true,it does not allow gold buillions, bars but fine with jewelry.
Anyway I shipped USPS priority any way ,when I realised it is a scam,I asked USPS to contract Russian post office to withhold the package, but due to communications and time difference ,the scammer has already picked up the package !
Another time was a print,Russian post office said the address is too small, postman cant read so it was returned to me !!
Russians were buying diamond on Ebay, and asking Ebay sellers to declare a low amount,it gets to the point Russian customs called in diamond experts to examine these diamonds, how can a 3 carat clear diamond have a declared value of US$80?
Siberian post office begs its residents not to buy too much as they cant handle the volume!
There were just too much scams and non delivery due to theft/scams,Ebay sellers would ban Russian buyers ,the saying goes Shipping to Russia and throwing the item into a trash produce the same result.
It gets worse, insurance company would only insure the package from you to the Russian airport, once the plane landed, insurance is voided.
I do not know how it is now,Russia is one of the countries I do not do business with, also Middle East,Indonesia,Africa,South and Central America,Eastern Europe and Carribean countries.

I stopped reading after the first line agent006 - the post is difficult on my eyes :)

Gold jewelry? Oof I would think it's difficult to intercept once in Russia...

Re: Any Canada sellers?

sometimes it is stolen by the customs officer or the postman.
I dont know the situation now,but with the war, inflation is making life difficult for the average Russian citizens
