Retirement part 1 of 2
 

Well, it's heading towards that time. We have hit our goals (age and financial) to start to wind things down and shut down the 4 AZ accounts late this year.

I want to say a big THANK YOU to all the "old-timers" going back over 12 years that helped us get back into AZ after I blew it all up.

I could not have reached this point in life without all the help provided through this forum. I can't say thanks enough to each and everyone that has helped through the years.

Post # 2 will discuss any pitfalls of shutting down the 4 accounts.

instead of shutting down good accounts find someone who could run the business as your partner so you would be mostly a silent partner but there would still be money coming in

Nice success story for the new year. Although I'm not retiring anytime soon this forum also gave me a better quality of life with what I have learnt through here.

Nope, it will be a clean break. 4 years ago I said that I would probably keep a couple of accounts alive, but then AZ just keep coming up with more ways to screw you.

It will be a clean break and enjoyable retirement.
