| ralphrox | 02-25-2025 01:41 PM | Has Anyone Gone to Arbitration While having other Active Accts? Has anyone taken amazon to arbitration to get funds back from a suspended account, while still having other active seller accounts?
My concern is that Amazon will have my ID from the arbitration, and through that, they'll be able to match up my ID with my other businesses and link my other seller accounts.
.
I obviously don't have my ID/name associated with each of my multiple accounts, but I do have my LLC's on each account. I'm wondering what amazon's capabilities are as to finding out which LLC's I'm associated with once they have my name and real gov ID. |

technically you are allowed to have multiple different accounts for separate LLCs as long as you are not selling same items there (f e each acc has own category of products being sold) |

Think about it like this, they are a tech company and if they want to, they'll figure it out.
And they'll burn an entire forest to find that 1 bad tree.
They've done this before. |
Re: Has Anyone Gone to Arbitration While having other Active Accts? Following the thread - would be good to see if anyone has experience with this process |

Its about 40K USD stuck in that account |

They settled while withholding 6 figures!?! Why were they holding the money in the first place? Was the account suspended?
I guess since you settled, you might've not seen the full arbitration process... Did they ask for your ID/other personal info?
Did you have other active accounts? Were those linked to the account that you went to arbitration for? |

Its about 40K USD stuck in that account | well usually they do link the accs right but not always all of them and sometimes even none of the rest :)
have you tried to get the funds out using the regular appealing process ? |

have you tried to get the funds out using the regular appealing process ? | My question is, with my real identification, will they look up which LLC's I'm a member of, and link those Amazon accounts.
I have tried appealing, but section 3 is pretty impossible to appeal these days. |

I have tried appealing, but section 3 is pretty impossible to appeal these days. | it's easy to find out if you own any other companies and whether any of them is registered under any active selling account on AMZ. If they do it they obviously gonna link the accs and suspend them (most likely at least); but you can't be sure about it; if most of the times they don't even care appearing in court I would assume they don't have time to do all these checkings of your other companies either.
as for appealing: well section 3 is tough obviously but still there's a chance to get the funds especially via video call nowadays. so pls share what you already tried and what response you got ty. |

They're very capable of connecting dots, particularly payment methods, addresses, and tax information. If you still have accounts active, it's best to weigh your risk before proceeding. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 11:54 AM. | |
