| modzo | 04-08-2025 01:51 PM | Did Amazon.com start using AI to check sellers’ inventory? On March 31st, all three of my stores were shut down.
Each received the same notice, which seems really suspicious. Two of the stores had been running for over two years and were in good standing.
One of the stores did have FBA inventory incoming. It was a new store with no sales, so it doesn’t seem like the work of a competitor or an unhappy customer.
Two of the stores were hit with video call verification, and one was asked to submit documents.
The timing of it all feels off—I can’t make sense of it. Could it be AI making these decisions? https://i.ibb.co/sJNR0Cvq/Screenshot...-08-204929.png |

It’s totally fine for store with no recent sales / fresh store with no sales at all; as for other stores running more than 2 years it could be a random request done via AI bot no joke; AMZ have a lot of different bots so it’s always possible; it’s like with inauthentic suspensions where just the software can flag your acc for listing specific brand and either suspend the acc immediately or just inform human associate to process it manually -_-
AMZ has always been and always will be using any sort of automated software which helps to worsen life of a seller. |

| SaiJin | 04-08-2025 06:11 PM | Re: Did Amazon.com start using AI to check sellers’ inventory? THey've always used a bot and AI.
the dumb humans behind them tend to crank up the bitchiness of the bots or they ease them up a little whenever they are told to. |

I was selling a few of the same listings from different accounts.
Even though I had ⊗⊗⊗⊗ invoices, the supply chain logic seemed solid and eventually even managed to get a real licensing agreement from the supplier, I still couldn’t get one of the accounts reinstated. https://i.ibb.co/Hf2mmyYx/Screenshot...-09-094049.png |

With invoice request ? |
Re: Did Amazon.com start using AI to check sellers’ inventory? All three hit at same time does seem quite AI related...were they selling similar items? Did you perhaps login differently recently? Just discussing |

| Papyrusman | 04-09-2025 12:50 PM | Re: Did Amazon.com start using AI to check sellers’ inventory? AFAIK, amazon operates in waves. So the timing makes sense if there was suspicious activity happening on any/all 3. |
| murdered_by_ebay | 04-09-2025 02:50 PM | Re: Did Amazon.com start using AI to check sellers’ inventory? I had that before , accounts getting shut down for connection to other accounts through inventory. the issue is that it is forbidden on amazon to have more than one account without permission so that this leads to suspension even if everything else is legit |

The reason I asked is that many Ebay sellers have multiple stores on Ebay and none have any inventory on hand,so wonder if this is also common on AMZN marketplace? |

| modzo | 06-21-2025 08:06 AM | Re: Did Amazon.com start using AI to check sellers’ inventory? yeah all of the stores had their own invetory.
Though few of the ASINs where being sold between all of the 3 stores. I guess thats how they connected them. Lesson learned. |

Re: Did Amazon.com start using AI to check sellers’ inventory? they can also link via the pricing of the inventory. moreover: if there are 1000 listings, and only 2 the same as the other account, it wont get linked. But if there are 5 listings, and 5 listings the same, then much hgher chances.
the AI bots have been making awful mistakes with suspensions, seenit across the baord |

Still, human teams review final verification. The timing may feel random, but compliance checks often hit multiple accounts together. |

I deleted about 50 skus of inventory (Over 1000 skus) from my stealth account about 2-3 weeks ago so i can switch that inventory to the relatives account. Would Amazon be able to link me? |
