Amazon going off the deep end

So lately they have removed a listing here and there without emailing me, no notice in my metrics page. I email them about a listing and rage...why was this removed, wth is going on?

The answer:

"I have looked into your closed listing and confirmed that this listing with ASIN: ********* is blocked because they violated our Community Rules. Listing comments that may be construed as redirecting customers away from Amazon.com are not allowed."

The listing description:

"Complete with original disc + key code. Free upgrade to expedited shipping"

Go figure. Bunch of morons working there huh.

Same thing with some of my listings. I had a bunch of listings with a generic description and they had removed a couple of them . The listing stste as follows. "Brand New Factory sealed". They better wake up over there..

Was the "brand new factory sealed" listed under used - like new?

Superstealth, I have occasionally considered doing that too, but I realized that Amazon would knock it down. Some products have restrictions that allow us mere mundanes to only list certain conditions. For example, I can only list Windows XP Pro as "used, very good".

Right, so don't say brand new in the comments

I don't. I did think about it but decided to pass. But it hurts when I have a brand new one and I can't get the new price for it.
