It goes into effect April 17 for many sellers who use AMZN warehouse and delivery service to store inventory and ship orders.
As of April 17,fuel and logistic related surcharge will apply to US and Canada sellers using the AMZN fullfilment options.
Sellers using the Buy with Prime and Mutil Channel Fullfillment options will see surchagre starting May 2.
This surcharge wil be based on fullfillment fee,not on sale prices of the items.
On average,it comes to 17 cents extra per unit using the AMZN fullfiilment and the item 's dimension
.How much you want to pass this onto your buyer is up to you,
AMZN DID NOT PROVIDE TIMEFRAME WHEN THIS FUEL SURCHARGE WILL END.

Indeed,when grocery stores found out their prices have gone up,they will raise prices as well.
I see it at my local grocery store,they are clearing what they have on the shelf so the new stock will have a higher price.
