Amazon Tip #7 - Creating a Stealth Bank Account

Amazon Stealth Tip #7 - Creating a Stealth Bank Account

Creating a stealth bank account is the easiest stealth activity to do since Amazon cannot track a bank account holder's real name to their bank account. You can use any name you wish as long as the bank account and routing numbers are correct.

Unfortunately, bank accounts are a limited resource for the stealth user so make sure to use a new bank account only after you are 100% sure your stealth account is active and out of the review period. Once your Amazon account is blocked you can never use that Waiting after your account is 30 days old is a fairly safe bet.

For more information on what bank accounts are the best to use I recommend that you purchase eBay Stealth from this forum and search this forum for help and suggestions.

Wow great info!!!!!!!

First Edition 01-05-2010 10:12 AM

Does anyone know if they associate a name with the ach deposit? Sometimes the bank will reject it the names don't match up... which is covered in eBay stealth. Sometimes with certain companies, there is no name attached to it. I'd be very curious to know if Amazon does.

How many bank accounts can you have

Amazombie 01-06-2010 03:00 AM

I have used several stealth names without any issues of the banks I use rejecting my amazon deposit so I don't think that will be an issue.

From my understanding you can have as many bank accounts as you want but it becomes a pain to list them at the end of the year for tax purposes.

I have about 12 open bank accounts but I need to close most of them since they are all blocked by Amazon:(

Aspkin has a great recommendation in his ebay stealth book on alternatives to using bank accounts so I suggest picking up his book. Also, try searching this forum and you will find some great options.

I think that they see both the name and the number that is why it is so important never to use ANY credit cards associated with your name and obviously never reuse the same number.

I had accts. closed using the same name and number.

If bank will reject..try your real name with one word mistake

Sure, that's just a name variation. But Amazon handles the money for you, instead of eBay using Paypal. It's a little different, also considering you can use the bank account to withdraw funds to on all of your kicked accounts after the 90 day period.

ryanlbfc 03-06-2010 09:21 AM

so if i create a new bank account can i use the same name and adress as i used before?

ryanlbfc 03-06-2010 09:44 AM

and can they track the adress back to the bank account?

oompaloompa 03-06-2010 10:26 AM

you have to your real details to make a bank account - its the law

normally bank doesnt give details to third parties

ryanlbfc 03-06-2010 10:38 AM

I am about to set up a new account using all the apropriate steps of:
new windows id (will this have any cookies or info from other Id)
New name
New adress
new number
new email
A usb internet stick, not registered to any adress or person
disable current internet whilst i do it
and a new card number BUT the card is registered in my sisters name but to the same adress as other banned accounts! will they know this or should i use a family members card registered in different name and adress?
if all works should i take listings slow e.g. 1 item for starting (used dvd) and build it up slowly over the period to get good feedback?

alwaystrying 03-06-2010 01:21 PM

TAXES ! WHO PAYS TAXES! Screw that the govt prints 37 million dollars a day 7 days a week they do not need my measly trinkets!!

oompaloompa 03-06-2010 04:05 PM

I pay taxes... I'm not a fan of federal prison.

I do watch lockup RAW on natgeo...... Have you seen it?

ryanlbfc 03-07-2010 12:00 PM

Created new account yesterday, been looking good so far as i usually get banned within a hour or two but been on for over a day so far fingers crossed. Taking listings slow to build up positive feedback.

I thought I read something about this earlier but I can't find it now. So say you list 5 items in one month. For some reason 1 of those gets a negative feedback. Will they shut you down for that? Seems pretty harsh to treat a rookie seller that way. But wait. Amazon harsh? never......

blondons 03-12-2010 07:44 PM

when making a new amazon account what do you need a usb internet stick for? And what kind of CC would you use for amazon to go stealth, a GC with a different name? If so, what's the best GC to get for amazon? thanks

ryanlbfc 03-13-2010 10:51 AM

i usead a usb internet stick as i read that amazon checks the adress that your internet is registered to and with a internet stick they cant as it uses the network providers info. And i dont know about gift cards but i used a different bank account (sisters) and used the stealth name and adress as they cant check those in relation to the card details.

Quick question, if I'm going stealth and im using a family members info on the east coast, but I'm in the west coast, is amazon going to be suspicious that my ip address registers in a different state?

that might get u banned. Just use a dial up number in their area & u will b ok.

ThinkTank 03-14-2010 02:39 AM

..

Dial up number? You mean telephone or internet connection? If internet, how do you control the number of the dial up?

getBypass 03-14-2010 01:34 PM

you can choose to connect with dial up numbers with the area code of the location you have in mind.

These numbers are provided by the isp.

bluehorse 03-14-2010 02:35 PM

forgive this basic question but it's been years since I started selling on Amazon and now I'm trying to set up a stealth account there. It's about the review period....at what point does that start? when you sign up as a buyer, sign up as a seller, start listing, or...?

Search this forum for each of those questions and you will find it.

You review period starts when you start listing.

so because my family member thats helping me out lives in another state I will always have to use dial up in their area code or just for initial set up? To be honest, I've already done this before out of state with no problem, only i had been at there place out of state when I set it up, then went back to my home state and continued to use the account under a different IP address, but just using extra precautions this time. Maybe last time was a fluke and it won't work this time, who knows.

One more question, my family member already has an amazon account for shopping, am I ok to just add another account for them, as if they have 2 buyer accounts, and then I will make the new 1 a seller account as well? Again, I've already done this before, I'm just always worried that it worked once, and might not work again.

Amazombie 03-20-2010 04:21 PM

u wlll b ok using any ip since u set the acct. up already.

U will get all ur family members acct. closed if u do that so dont do it.

Does anybody know the reason why amazon block your listing? i listes different product but for one of those product they block it. The other ones are fine. But , i really can not figure out.
Any help, it would be highly appreciate it.
Thank you

Amazombie 03-22-2010 02:22 AM

it is probably a restricted category for only a few sellers.

bluehorse 03-22-2010 09:14 PM

I tried today to add a bank account to my stealth Amazon account. It asked me for the bank account number and name of the account holder. Since the bank account is in my name (though it's a new account I've never used at Amazon) I entered the name I used to open the Amazon account. I immediately got an error message saying the bank ID verification failed. But if I put in my real name aren't I going to get suspended again? Is there any way around this?

Amazon has 2 categories that are clearly posted.
You can list most things without issue but the other things you must be approved for. read around its very easy to find out.
